Most social media sites require an opt-in for connections, it all is not OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ANYWAY, like your masters would want you to believe. As far as the paranoid trip, good luck, it are those who do this type of stuff who are the paranoid, among other fucked up things......

actually, since this does not stop real crime or terrorists (if it is, let's see that data), it is called voyeurism and perversion. Sorry, because you are the DHS or any other kind of law enforcement, if the law is giving you a door to being a pervert and spying on people all the time because you can, then whatever you stand for is dark and evil, and if you're claiming you stand for the USA, I say you are a liar, since the USA might allow perversion and voyeurism to an extent, but not under some cloud claiming it is good and helping you stay safe and free. Nope, that is the work of the devil. Of course you are scaring the sheep (and that is the real point, since these tactics are military style, and what you are really saying, as I've pointed out many times before, is that you are at war and everyone is a potential enemy.....sorry paranoid idiot, I am not your enemy, quit trying to make me one), but not everyone is a sheep and sooner than later people will get sick of your bullshit, as if they're not already.
