The final herbs and wildflowers, recently wilted or made to release seed caused by the recent heavy frosts, have been harvested and made into the very first batch of Temple Incense to be used in the first Counseling Of Nations during 2007. The last new moon (current season) timed the harvesting of these materials. This incense produces a very strong, intense smoke, definitely not for use inside! This is raw incense, meaning it is mainly the leaves, flowers, bark, roots, sap and some pith of the plants the incense was made, and related plant materials that were used in it's production, not ground up but remaining very coarse; some of the over 30 plants include:
Rosemary
Woody Yellowcone
Butter & Eggs (the herb, NOT the dairy)
Yellow Sweet Clover
Cleavers
Vervain
Horemint
Raven's Mint
Indian Hemp
Motherwort
Yarrow
Sweet Goldenrod
Horseweed
Boneset
Chicory
Sweet Flag
Cedar Grass
Common Juniper
Fennel
Sweet Gum (storax)
Elderberry
Smooth Red Sumac
Marsh Blazing Star
Mormon Tea
Wild Ginger
American Pennyroyal
Dill
Field Sage
Butterfly Weed
Sassafrass
Purple Sedge
Wormwood
Frankincense
Myrrh
A fine, ground powdered incense has also been produced from this batch for further ceremony, and sent to the leaders of nations invited to the first Counseling Of Nations in 2007. The powdered version has also been sent to heads of various denominations of churches and religions as a Christmas offering. These too have been invited to New Jerusalem in 2007.
At the last World Council meeting, it was decided materials made from sacred herbs and wildflowers grown in the Herb Gardens of New Jerusalem shall never be sold. But if you ask really nicely, I might arrange for a free sample to be sent to you. ;-)
Because of delays in mail deliveries to some nations, invitations for some of the over 100 nations that will be invited to New Jerusalem in 2007 were sent out this week. If you would like to be a witness, please contact me via letter or telephone for arrangements.
