Made them more capable Made them think more like his own mind. Then he made them even better Though increasingly they required even more Of his and everyone else’s time. Some noticed problems Others lived in pass times At least in their minds The youth had no choice Then came a time No one else did either. This story is about those times. A Story of a time when freedom became a lie A dream, a mystery, presentation by design Though some knew a long time before Remembered when it lived Before the time Freedom died Before the change Become the Era of Machines. When machines became of the mind Ruled time Mankind became Entity Lost in Virtual Reality Slave to AI. This story is about those still who knew Who fought for freedom Though they were called criminals Sick of morality and mind. They called these people Their creations, their machines The Underground. Some said they were outlaws Some said they did not even exist Some said spirits Some said demons in the flesh. Others said pure crazy insanity Completely lost their damned minds. Yet some who knew the truth Didn’t say anything at all. Still they were hunted like dogs For machine ruled all now Masters Of Science & Law. Except these few. It was said Such posed danger to the populace The System in place The honored alliance The determinations of The State. It was decided they must pay Become right, yield to authority Or be destroyed. This is their story During that day When the Angels of Light Appeared by hologram And the Reign Of Darkeness Brought eternal night.
