Amazon' deal with USPO is illegal per not only fair trade and practices statutes, and the Sunday delivery for specific characters (entities, such as amazon) is absolutely unfair to those whom that service is not available. I know one has been able to pay for sunday deliverys via express type offerings through USPO for some time. We have a little different situation w/ the day of the lord relative to Amazon & what it pays to play. They pay nothing, not even what you do, or would @ volume. Much less a few pieces here and there. Elite members of our $ociety indeed are priviledged in so many ways....
Since the Post Office is "not" a government agency (it most certainly is, even greater as being one than the meaning of "quasi-government" entities) a lawsuit challenging that unfair practice alone is indeed doable yet would perhaps not go anywhere, you'll play hell suing the post office as an independent non-G entity offering any type services at any time to anyone or just a few, or one, particular. That's what commercial businesses do.
If it was still "officially" solid G, it would laugh at you then if you got serious it would fuck you up however it wishes. Corporations do about the same, you can try and sue them though, but it's hell to call the hand of the man when he has fucked up and destroyed, much less in the process of doing such under guise. So USPO not being official government loses that ability to a small degree, yet can add in a buncha benefits government cannot do in fair just, or rather can do things the government may be called on as being unfair and partial. Like business dealings with other commercial entities.
I am impartial to Amazonia. Use it if I want, yet could live without it. It is great, but with most great things, it has some hard, dark edges. Amazon is part of the demise of all kinds of physical stores all over. Enough of that over time, less choice one stop or nothing kinda things, economies collapse with the right ingredients added in.
But that is the relative part. Much of the balance is askew due to perception. Tried for years to use their affiliate programs to make a little money, nothing, I think less than $20 in 20 years, and for a long time I tried at a decent clip to build stores with products related to whatever I wanted, main focus on music and music related. Not their fault, yet as I said I am indifferent...

I believe though a group suing the USPO would prevail in court. A blind man can see it is unfair. Yet unfair, and taking the man to task, has never been one of the shining examples of our government court system. It is far too full of itself, is the government, to ever clamp down on it's own shenanigans outside of exact wording one must adhere to because BY God, it is the law and no one gets around it should the sanctity of law mean any damned thing (from my experience, the law is full of itself). I even thought about doing it, but my dogs in enough fights as it is, some w/ the man who has a wicked plan, so don't need more of that nor JB as Amazonian on me ass....
Someone who owns businesses should unite with others who do not have the same benefits extended as Amazon has from the USPO. Sue the shit outta them all. JB and the USPO as well....
