UK talking bullshit.......

It is actually rare to get a response, canned as this is. I've often wondered instead of just beat people over the head with "IT JUST CONTRAILS" the G hasn't been saying "the increased persistent contrails you are seeing are being caused by all the added moisture/co2/methane being put into the atmosphere due to increased moisture uptake from oceans and melting ice caused by climate change." I guess they're still figuring out what to say to BS the sheep, they'll start saying exactly that anyday, because for the uninformed and non-scientific sheeple, that is a plausible psuedo-science explanation that will work better than "same contrail as it's always been and this is how that works...." and give you a canned letter like this......


Everyone needs to right this joker, and any who tell you information like this, because it is correct, except, and point this out, the volume of these "persistent" contrails they're always talking about would have to be a river to create the density of the "contrail" we see running out the engines, plus the small number of contrails is not enough volume when dispersing, being just water vapor for a few to create horizon to horizon silvery skies; and, the most important, the "AFTERMATH" of these persistent contrails are fine flying mists and fogs which are not possible at low altitudes with just "condensed water vapor" from a jet aircraft engine. Tell them they will be held responsible, probably be prosecuted when the truth comes out, and to explain what you just told them....they cannot, using their canned explanations, not the volume, not the dispersal variances, and especially not the aftermath of fine mists and fogs which choke the shit out of everybody....water vapor for jet aircraft WILL NOT create a mist which comes down to a few hundred or thousand feet you can see like a damn vaporizer running, not from normal jet engine contrails, that's absurd and completely scientifically impossible.....

Finally....I'm 47 years old, it has not being doing this massive sky spanning white outs every day, consistently, affecting the weather until the past decade and it has gotten worse every year, increased air traffic is horseshit when it's everywhere and not just way high in the airways, the bullshit is over rural and places where only a few planes cross daily, if actually ANY....there is a change, and if they are too stupid to figure out to lie to you and say it's the increased moisture/co2/methane in the atmosphere which wasn't there in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and first most of the first decade of the millennium, then don't you be so fucking stupid as to accept an answer which is obvious a bad try at a lie, half/truth at best. Contrails HAVE NOT BEEN DOING THIS EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME SINCE WE'VE HAD HEAVY JET TRAFFIC, that is an OUT RIGHT LIE.

Thank you for your email.

As far as the Met Office is concerned there are only contrails - persistent and non-persistent. We do not recognise such things as chemtrails. We do realise there are others who do not agree and take a more sinister view that chemtrails exist and are causing damage to our atmosphere but we have no evidence to support that view.

The exhaust from jet engines contains the by-products of the combustion of aviation fuel. These by-products contain aerosols (microscopic particles suspended in the air) and also water vapour (water in its gaseous form). In certain atmospheric conditions these aerosols and water vapour can enhance the likelihood of condensation taking place (hence contrails).

There are fundamentally two forms of contrails; those that are non-persistent and those that are persistent:

If humidity and temperature are in the right balance (temperature must be below – 57 °C) these condensed trails cannot evaporate again and so persist for some time and can be dispersed into broader patterns by the wind at high altitudes. These persistent contrails can combine with the contrails from other aircraft to form what can effectively be described as high cloud. This can be very noticeable, especially if it occurs near air traffic route “hubs” where many aircraft converge.

On other occasions when prevailing humidity at altitude is low, the contrails can readily evaporate again and so are non-persistent.

The vast majority of global aviation is from commercial airlines. Military aircraft account for, by comparison, a very small portion of all contrails.

The effects of persistent contrails can reduce the amount of the sun’s energy reaching the surface of the earth (the so-called “global dimming” effect). This effect is small but measurable and has a very small cooling affect. Contrails during the night however, trap the earth’s heat and so have a warming effect. The net effect is therefore difficult to establish. The carbon dioxide emission from the burning of aviation fuel has a much more significant impact on the climate. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and so aviation, along with all other fossil fuel burning transport forms, is contributing to human caused global warming.
