Check out how crazy this trying to move is. Start on page 6, and pay attention, it's about getting reimbursed, not helped to do it, you get 0 money up front, FOR ANYTHING. And, you must MEET requirements FOR EVERYTHING. You do not get any money or consideration for the aggravation and actual damages it causes you or your business. It's all about "qualify, up to, if, maybe, reimburse, determine, eligibility"....so far I've been denied any type of hardship request; nothing to move my business, or residence, no money to help to relocate my farm production areas; I must go in debt, spend thousands, then attempt, if I've done everything required of me in A, B, or C, to get reimbursed, but only for the EXACT money I spend, or at least that's what I'm told, and I've been told a lot and not gotten anything and already this has cost me thousands. I was also denied storage space -
"Moving costs may include temporary storage of personal property, not to exceed twelve
(12) months, "if the Department determines storage is necessary". Only the "State
Right of Way Administrator" can authorize storage and temporary lodging.
In addition, costs of transportation, temporary lodging and meals may be eligible if it is
"predetermined" by the Department that such costs are necessary and reasonable.
THESE COSTS ARE ELIGIBLE ONLY IF YOU ELECT TO BE PAID ON THE ACTUAL COST BASIS."
I have thousands of square feet of stuff, music gear, studio gear, electronic equipment, rigging, farm tools, rooms full of personal and business stuff currently in the house, business and on the property I rent that WILL NOT be able to fit into the much smaller spaces I will be required to rent. What it says about reimbursing you if you have to try and sell it or lose it is a lie, they GIVE YOU NOTHING! It's pure insanity!

For Christ sakes say X amount of money is there, let's set a date for me to be gone and let me use the money, which the federal government has already given you, to do all this. They should just write you a check and let you get on down the road and reassemble your life and business when/where/how you can get it done; this trying to get approved, coordinate, specify and exact cost everything is complete horseshit. The federal law states they are to help, the State Of Georgia, basically, says FUCK YOU, and attempts to control your life, determine if you are worthy and "qualify" for this money they have "for you" and basically denies you ANY MONEY till you prove to them they have to pay you after you spend money and time doing a required move. REMEMBER, YOU GET 0 MONEY TILL YOU SPEND IT YOURSELF. It's beyond ridiculous....
