THE MIGHTY GORE EXITS THE SCENE

I hadn't seen Richard since my infamous Birthday Bash in August of 2010.  He'd had a rough time for a long time, lots of health problems. Almost everyone expected the worst, sooner or later.  You just wish sometimes it'd been later, much later. I called him not even 2 days ago, having not heard from him for over a week or so, which was unusual.  Damn glad I called.  I've known Richard (The Gore) since the late 70's and we became the best of friends in the early 1980's.  By the mid-80's we played in the bands Theoria & Equinox together and by the late 80's we'd worked on an additional 3-4 albums of my own solo stuff.  Later we played together in the band Bootlegger, and had been planning a reunion for that band for the last year or so. Between times we racked up many miles and many good times.  Richard Kilgore passed away on January 22nd, 2011.  YOU WILL BE MISSED MY BROTHER!
