OBAMA: Troop decision still weeks away

It's being reported that President Obama is still weeks away from a decision on how many troops he is going to send to war in Afghanistan and when. Let me make a few things clear about war.

Your nation is failing in both Afghanistan and Iraq as far as making those countries stable enough for the US NOT to have to baby sit and "protect" those peoples and those governments; by a conservative estimate, it will take 12-15 years at an ELEVATED level of troop and financial/infrastructure support supplied by the US above today's levels to get anywhere near those countries being stable, and then there are so many factors even then you might be looking at another decade above that at extended, elevated levels to prop up those countries so that they can NOT have civil wars when, and if, we leave. It's a bigger mess than armies and throwing the US citizen's tax monies away can correct.

We have heard the general wants 40K more troops. Sorry, that is way too small. You will need 250,000 + to get the job done. Your troops will probably not get even the 40K asked for. And for Christ's sakes, how many months now has the troops been asking and waiting for this additional 40K? Instead of touring Asia and spending hundreds of millions of your money to play the cool breeze and seemingly "chat-up" those governments about "economics and environments", your President needs to take care of his business at home,; your economy is NOT recovering in a way to last, that health care bill is a farce (no dental, dermatology, or eye-care involved? It is half-assed at best). While the governments have paid themselves, their big-business cronies (too big to fail brother!) and other nations well, the pitiful programs for small business to TRY and get loans does not work, and there is no program or plan on the horizon to fix that. Another massive failure awaits, if it happens soon enough and within certain parameters, your systems will fail.

He did say Pakistan needs to clean up their mess. Well since that is where the remnants of those who stuck us are at, it is well past time to frankly tell them, you get them, or we do. If that means going in there to get them, you do that, and you tell Pakistan so, guarantee that will set a larger fire under their tails. You do not fight wars half-assed; give your armies enough troops and support, finish your jobs. The US does not have the means nor finances to "nation-build" nor take care of other nations as welfare states. Time to get over the rhetoric of "the last super-power". No, you don't have the abilities to run / develop other nations, you can hardly run your own.

Finally, if you're asking why i say "your" President and "your" nation, and not "My". True I am a US citizen and of the West, yet my nation IS the SUPERPOWER. It is called The Kingdom Of God. I don't think I need to tell you who MY President is. Judgment is many phases, and it is happening. Time to put the rhetoric, ideology, and pie-in-the-sky dreams away. Win your war against those who struck you. Realize there will be civil wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and YES, even though ultimately your failed political actions makes the US in a large way responsible, you're not responsible for either the Afghans nor Iraqis, and when those wars happen, NO, you'll not be able to stop them or win them for either side, at least not without the help of many, many, other nations (think WWII). You'll have to deal with those consequences.

First, give your troops the numbers they need to win this war, or get out.
