A few senor Federal Senate and House members are correct in pushing this new bill that would decriminalize hemp for personal use:
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/07/31/frank.bill.ireport/index.html
Actually, THE WORD is quite clear about people's rights to the plants God has given us as gifts:
"No state rightfully can outlaw a simple plant of God's Creation when such use is to ease the physical and or mental suffering of any person, and such use does not involve public or private commerce. Nor shall any state which wishes to be righteous, punish those who give freely the creations of the fruits, vines, trees, seeds, bush and grasses of the Earth. All natural creation in relation to humankind in reference to such plants, are Gifts Of God's Creation.
Should such commerce related to Gifts Of God concerning creations of the Natural State be used to cause pain, suffering, death or rule by force of humankind, it is to the policy maker as to how such commerce be avoided. Yet still, peaceful uses of the Gifts, void of commerce or coercion by force, shall not the righteous policy punish.
For of the Way regarding persons of the Kingdom Of God, all plants are given as Gifts from God, and the persons of such a State have the irrefutable right to grow, possess and use any plant, when not involved in economic commerce, for themselves personally and privately, and to share freely without charge with other persons of the Kingdom."
From the Book Of Law (towards the end of the first three Books in The Book Of Divinity, also known as THE WORD - http://www.angelfire.com/ca/wtw/)
Of course, smoking ANYTHING is not good for your health, but that's not the only way this medicinal herb can be taken, by far.
Some kind of responsible laws would also go well towards stopping criminal organizations from using God's Gifts for commerce, invariably, the vast majority of their making use of hemp as an illegal profit maker would be erased (some estimates of up to 95% of the current illegal hemp market in the US) when your government decides to quit acting the fool. Your nation is broke, you DON'T have enough money to chase and imprison peaceful hemp users as you have for almost a century. A positive set of regulations concerning the use of hemp would also go along way in stopping use and destruction of public lands being done more and more by criminal organizations - http://www.kmph.com/global/story.asp?s=8809329 , http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/08/08/pot.eradication/index.html keeping the current status quo will not help or slow down such abuses.
The Government of the Natural State, as told in THE WORD, has spoken about the Gifts Of God in relation to plants and people. Humankind will not overcome this, no matter how hard they try. That is guaranteed.
Course, you will have knotheads and pinheads who insist that even mentioning that hemp should be legal gives them the right to put you on a "clients list" so they can waste your nation's money attempting to bring prosecution and despair to your life. Believe me, in extremely hardcore ways, when it is their time, judgment on them will be harsh. Saying it is your job or it is the law, will not grant those any kind of reprieve. Regardless of what kind of and how often those people go to "church".
THE WORD is very clear on this.
On August 14th, The World Council will send notice of recommendation in support of this and future sensible bills to all US House and Senate members, with a follow up in the following weeks to all members of each State's legislatures. The wording of such will be discussed during the annual meeting of World Council members on that day, August 14th, during the North and South American consultations.
If you would like to have your written statement accompany this mailing, I will make photocopies of your originals in support of this and future positive legislative concerning hemp and include them in our statement. You can send your letters to:
