Of Fate & Chance - Grasp The Open Hand

Powerful music, strong punk vibe, alterna-progressive in a day when it seems it's all been done. Of Fate & Chance are also a metal band, transforming their funk-punk to old school riffing, into a smash up, all within a minute or so in the same song! First full cut "Sweeter Candy" show all colors of the band, set in a moving articulation of delivery, the band kicks ass. Following is "Lies With Substance", the definition of "punk metal", something for the kids, something for thrash heads, killer stuff for all. There's even a hint of straight edge (Alienation Of America), with melody and structure emotive, straight into a rave up to finish the song. You're right back into some heavy stuff with "Graves In The Equator", which could be old school everything. They keep it hard as they blast through "Vain Expectation", touching on classic screamo. For eight full songs Of Fate & Chance give it hell, and it's an enjoyable, fast paced ride. Contact: http://offateandchance.com, band@offateandchance.com, http://www.scorpionrecords.com
