THE MAY BEES - DROP LITTLE BOY

Taking the heart of trends like europop with a smooth blend of straight riff has been a popular drink for a while, still a potent blend will set one apart from the other. The May Bees have just enough retro blood to pay homage, but their minds run off of soaring passages and rich texture. They get into jams and funks, raves and set-ups. Not a bad song on the disc more than a few hits if they've got the right street team. A few spots meander, but generally the feedback will bring ya back. Highly recommended. A Word About Hemp

A friend and person of the Kingdom Of God who identifies themselves as a citizen of the nation-state of New Jerusalem was arrested yesterday for possession of marijuana after his neighbor, who had visited his home, smelled it and turned him into police (his neighbor has an arrest record for burglary and shop lifting, among numerous dui-alcohol convictions, and is a known informant who is paid for his info). During their search, which was unnecessary because they were given all the hemp the man possessed (2 plants and 1/8 ounce dried herb) without having to search, the police destroyed over $3,000 in furniture, confiscated his computer, completely wrecked the man's house and car and there is a high dollar amount of music gear equipment missing from the man's house (hmmmm...wow, boy does that sound familiar).....no additional hemp was found.

This friend has been distributing The Word since it was published online in 1996, using his own time and money to make printed copies of the first Book (the preferred method of distribution, since the entire Book Of Divinity takes up a lot of ink and paper) and give them free to local churches, the homeless, and anyone who would like a copy. This man is a good person, he is not a criminal.

Where this gets complicated, or good to use a better term, is he doesn't buy hemp on the black market, he does not sell hemp and has no past drug convictions. In fact, the man does not drink or use other drugs, but is in agreement with The Way, which governs the nation-state of New Jerusalem, by degree of the following found within related scripture of The Word:

"God created no evil plants"

"No state rightfully can outlaw a simple plant of God's Creation when such use is to ease the physical and or mental suffering of any person, and such use does not involve public or private commerce. Nor shall any state which wishes to be righteous, punish those who give freely the creations of the fruits, vines, trees, seeds, bush and grasses of the Earth. All natural creation in relation to humankind in reference to such plants, are Gifts Of God's Creation."

"For of the Way regarding persons of the Kingdom Of God, all plants are given as Gifts from God, and the persons of such a State have the irrefutable right to grow, possess and use any plant, when not involved in economic commerce, for themselves personally and privately, and to share freely without charge with other persons of the Kingdom."

from the book "Of Law" - The Book Of Divinity, also known as The Word.

Nuff said, plain and simple...
WTW

Yet, even though he plans on carrying his case before the state and perhaps the federal supreme court, there is actually a federal law that will apply and help him. Some information about that follows:

Religious Freedom Restoration Act

http://www.welcomehome.org/rainbow/nfs-regs/rfra-act.html

You can bet if possible, WTW will be at this man's trial and appeals, full ceremonial dress, with statements prepared for the court. Since I am the Head Of State of New Jerusalem, it'll be a bit different than joe-schmoo off the street running his trap and talking about "legalizing", which this isn't about at all, except to present realization that The Book Of Divinity more than qualifies as spiritual text and sacred scripture, as in similar cases like this the courts have required to apply RFRA.

Now, I don't grow hemp, not even in the Sacred Gardens Of New Jerusalem, which I tend and have created in honor of God. Realistically though, and legally, I could, though to be "legal" requires a license from the DEA, and we know they love to give those. Still, the bottom line is, New Jerusalem is real, there are literally millions of us, who make up the Armies Of Heaven, most of who don't grow or use hemp, and we're not registering with an entity that uses violence and force to insure compliance, for whatever strange reasons. One does well to remember whose Earth this is, before you start talking about "wars" and starting something totally unnecessary with millions of peaceful folk.

The coming court appearances in Florida will be very interesting....

Have a pleasant evening....

http://groups.google.com/group/Atheism-vs-Christianity

We're having a great, spirited debate in the usenet newsgroups these days. As planned, long ago, when the time came, I would intensify my interaction with the non-believers. Some of my close friends know I am not religious at all, yet I am not atheist nor agnostic. My relationship with God tends to be a bit different than others, like all of ours are, even if you want to cuss and defy God. You're still in the family...

So as the fall season comes upon us in my land, the time has come to fire up the jousting a few hundred degrees. I hope some of my Myspace friends will join us. Beware, if you're just going to flame and be an ass, and/or sprout religious rhetoric, more than likely this isn't the forum for that and you'll be barred. However, intelligent minds who can put their wisdom where their mouths are, we welcome you to the big time. In a few days this little discussion group has went from a sideshow to almost the top of the usenet views and interaction (top groups in poularity come up at - http://groups.google.com/). As you'll see, I am surrounded by the heathens, but 'ol WTW is holding his own quite well to some degree, and most of them don't know about the women, whiskey and wild rock n roll! Yet.....

So for those really wondering about "my job", quite wasting your time and our cash, one little facet of me being here is within these wild discussions. True, it's not for everyone, but I believe some of you will join us and add to the fun.....bring something good to the party if you decide to spit a few words of wisdom, if not, feel free to just sit back and enjoy the sparring....

A word of caution, usenet is known as discussion groups. I don't intend to what is debated there to become the focus of my Myspace profile (far from it, this is not the place), too much rock n roll here and many of my friends here could care less about philosophy, beliefs or God. So we'll toast those that do, over yonder.

{SATELLITE-STATE} - self titled

(this review will appear in the late November 2007 issue of The Underground Sound: undergroundrecords.org/sound)

{satellite-state} - s/t

{satellite-state} carry forth the embedded tradition of fine english pop bands which really got big with the Beatles and continued on through Oasis and the lot. {satellite-state} has a smooth and deep sound, at times almost mellow, which cries of passion, need and remembrance. The guitars ultimately set the layers of entwined soundscape hues, with the vocals of Gary Nicks (who also provides great acoustic guitar work) putting the dark colors of persistence as the colors ebb and flow, the fade as each song climaxes, full of tension and emotion, setting the scene for another spatial encounter to follow. While they market this disc as a demo, it's definitely a great EP, with over half the numbers good singles. {satellite-state} are on to something, with a formula both proven and always new, if the artist is in fact talented. Which I find lots of evidence to the positive here. All the bands members are good musicians in their own right, but I must give extra kudos to guitarist Ciaran Stephens, he's one of the most creative and best from that group of islands they call the UK since The Edge. Plus I must also shout out to Will Gray, on piano and synths, his work is a foundation of color. And I don't give those compliments lightly. Play their cards right, these cats will soon be on the cover of magazines worldwide. Management and booking - Pete Cole +44(0) 7801-496455, http://myspace.com/satellitestatemusic, satellitestate.com
