PSYCHOPHILE - VODKA MILK

Outdoing earlier work by Psychophile, Vodka Milk is still rough around the edges; the band is creative and writes good enough songs to be a smash, but their thin delivery on their recordings does not do them justice. Sometimes, a few times, the true power of Pointyat & Smogo shine with unimpeeded dark allure, even with the harshness. A good example is 'Waves", a classic darkwave number touches just enough dance sensibilities to be above most of the others. Really though, the number that follows, the instrumental "Sussurus" allows the band its gothic crown. A better integrated mix of such on the next release would do the band well. One cannot overlook the iconic members of Psychophile; they add dimension and force to their music creation with presence of self. Soon, songs like "The Otherside" might be reveled for their auspiciousness. They're getting close, their swan song classic is yet to be realized. Contact: http://www.psychophile.co.uk

TAP - The Anything People

Above the glide of a simple ride on the trip, Tap send out a wide screen of the vibe as they cruise through a heavy disc extended out on the one hit tip. To dismiss this as simple Eminem postering, since the cats in this band are that kinda take....you do injustice to these groove masters, though taking a while to settle in for an evening, when they do it it is the scene where you wanna be. Plenty of slides, simple pose over enlongated phrasing....both it's easy in, and and even easier out, it's a groove trip man, make it work.....TAP’s main mischief makers consist of No Threshold Records label head Nicotine (aka Ivan Ives) and producer Stupidfresh. They expand upon the tierd cliches of hip hop, and their brew is truly stimulating. It’s worth repeated listening, definitely.
