Decided on a picture for the cover of the first Rebel Messiah full length, entitled Big Bada Boom....it's a picture of a nuclear test in Bikini Atoll. Don't know if it's public domain or not, and at this point I really don't give a flip. I'd kill to have a decent mixing board, and / or a karma or triton to do the songs, most of which I have completed writing, yet most of all I'd like to find some players for the band...solo gigs I've had enough of, and it sucks. Well, poor folks have to make due with whatever, and that's about the base of things, whatever. If you're into making killer atomic punk metal, holler. Tried to work on vocals with this disc recorder, but have come to the conclusion Alesis made this thing using engineers, because for musicians this is a terrible interface to record, and as of yet, I cannot get the punch in to work.....it's hell trying to do the vocals for any of this stuff once through without a punch, even just for overdubs. Whaa Whaa.....

Decided to blog my life away. Like who gives a flip anyway? Heading out in a few days to do some solo gigs in The Big Easy, my 20 year old pine plywood amp cabinet with the even older force 10 EV's somehow still functions, though it rattles like hell. Checking to see if I can get an amp and cabinet for the two nights. I'm having doubts about the minimax solid state amp I rebuilt with spare parts at age 15 making it much longer. Geeze, at least I have a spare kay guitar (spare parts also) and one set of new strings in case I break something, which is par for any gig I do. Now, if the cassette tape with the backing music will hold........
